Terms of Service

Last updated 14 September 2026

These terms govern your use of Bread Winner, a production-planning application for bakeries operated by Francois Pied, doing business as Bread Winner ("we", "us"). By starting a trial or a subscription you agree to them.

1. What the service is

Bread Winner is web-based software for planning bakery production — recipes, formula chains, order-driven scaling, inventory, invoices and costing. We provide it as a service; you do not receive a copy of the software.

2. Your account

You sign in by email link. You are responsible for who you invite to your bakery and for what they do with it. Tell us promptly at hello@breadwinner.pro if you believe someone has gained access they shouldn't have. There is no limit on the number of users in your bakery.

3. Trial, pricing and payment

4. Cancelling, and what happens to your data

5. Your content

Your recipes and business data are yours. We claim no ownership of them. We store and process them only to provide the service to you, and we do not sell them, share them with other customers, or use them to train machine-learning models.

You can export your data at any time while your account is readable.

6. AI features

Some features — reading a photographed count sheet, extracting invoice lines, importing recipes, estimating shelf life — send the relevant document to a third-party AI provider for processing. These features are assistive: every result is shown to you for review before anything is saved, and you are responsible for checking it. We do not guarantee accuracy.

Fair use applies: up to 300 AI reads per bakery per month. We will contact you before restricting anything.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may take it down for maintenance, and we will avoid bakery hours where we can.

8. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to break into other bakeries' data, overload the service, resell access, or use it unlawfully. We may suspend an account that does.

9. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost production, spoiled product, or indirect losses.

Bread Winner is a planning tool, not a food-safety system. You remain responsible for your own food safety, allergen management, labelling and regulatory compliance.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction.
